These two small cities are very near each other in northern
Bengal. Both are often used as the starting point for major
climbs into the Himalayas, particularly Gangtok. Though most
honeymooners would prefer to stay in more hospitable climes,
there are tremendous views of the mountain range on clear
days.
The area is filled with picturesque green hills sprinkled
with terraced farms and tea estates couples can wander through.
The local food, gardens and rivers are something you cannot
afford to miss out on.
