Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Arrive to Delhi- one of India's fastest growing cities. On arrival you are given a grand reception at the IGI airport by our representatives and then brought to the hotels in an air-conditioned cab. Overnight is in the comforts of the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
Delhi is divided into two parts new Delhi and Old Delhi. Old Delhi is centered around Red Fort built by Emperor Shah Jahan. The lanes of Old Delhi are narrow and bustling. The beauty and serenity lies inside the courts of the main building. On the other hand, New Delhi has broad roads and shares the major gamut of development. In Delhi, we take you to Lotus temple followed by Akshardam temple. We then drive you to Rastrapati Bhawan and India Gate.
Following this, we continue drive to Qutub Minar and Humayun's tomb. After lunch, we take you to Chadni Chowk for a rickshaw ride. Here, you also get a chance to shop in the bazaars of Dariba Kalam. Later, we drive you to the memorial of Mathma Gandhi and the evening is in the ramparts of Red Fort where you can watch a 'Light and Sound' show.
Day 03 : Delhi - Jaipur (258 kms)
Morning after breakfast, we take you to the airport for boarding the flight to Jaipur. On reaching, check into Choki Dhani- a rural village resort and have your lunch. Later, we drive you to Jantar Mantar- an observatory of astronomical planets. We then take you to Moti Doongri, Sisodia Rani ka Bagh, Jal Mahal .
Evening are booked with Choki Dhani Village Resort, this is a serene secluded place and offers an excellent destination for gaining mental peace. Here, the attendants serve you with sumptuous Rajasthani meals, with the never-ending fabulous dishes that you would just relish. In Choki Dhani you also get a chance to ride on bullock carts and camel carts. The night is spent in the huts of the village restaurant where you get to see a puppet show.
Day 04 : Jaipur
Morning, after breakfast, we bring you back to Jaipur. We take you to Amber Fort on caparisoned elephant backs. Here you also get to see Shish Mahal an example of fusion of Hindu and Islamic art. We then move to the City Palace where we spend much of the time, as the palace is spread over a vast area.
Post lunch, we take you to Nahargarh Fort and Albert Hall. In the evening, we drive you to the markets of Jaipur like Bapu bazaar and Johari bazaar. Here, along with shopping of unique Rajasthani items, you also get the chance to visit Hawa Mahal, as this Mahal is located amidst the sprawling markets of Jaipur.
Day 05 : Jaipur - Agra (232 kms)
Morning, after breakfast, we drive you to Agra. On arrival, check into hotel. Later, we take you for sightseeing of Taj Mahal. Here, you also get to buy mini Taj from Oswal Emporium located nearby. We then continue drive to Agra Fort built by Akbar to commemorate his victory in war. Later, in the evening there is a 'light and sound' show in the precincts of Agra fort. We then drive you back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06 : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri (37 kms) - Bharatpur (20 kms)- Agra
Morning, we take you to Taj Mahal once again to view Taj bathing in the morning rays of the Sun. Then after breakfast in the hotel, we drive towards Fatehpur Sikri. On reaching, Fatehpur Sikri, we take you to the massive fort of Fatehpur Sikri. This fort is built by Akbar as a sign of respect and admiration for the sufi saint Salim Chishti. Watch out for the magnificent Jodhabai Palace here, and use cameras to capture the intricate carvings on the walls of the fort. We then drive you to Bharatpur.
This place is famous for its Bird Sanctuary. We take you on a rickshaw to watch the migratory birds and the best water-bird preserves of the world. Have a session of photography with innumerable birds of the sanctuary. Post lunch, we take you for an excursion to the Government museum of Bharatpur and Bharatpur Palace. We then return back to Agra. Night is at the hotel in Agra.
Day 07 : Agra - Gwalior (118 kms)
Early morning, we drive to Gwalior. It takes about 2 hrs to reach Gwalior. On arriving, we check into hotel and indulge in a sumptuous meal. We then drive to Gwalior Fort the main attraction of Gwalior. On the way to the fort, we also visit 21 Jain sculptures carved out of the rock, that dates back to the 5th and 15th centuries.
Within Gwalior fort you get to see Teli ka Mandir, Sas Bahu ka Mandir dedicated to Vishnu. There is also Gujri Mahal Palace, Man Mandir Palace and a notable tank the Suraj Kund. Then, we also take you to other sightseeings like Jai Vilas Palace and Usha Kiran Palace. Later, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08 : Gwalior - Khajuraho (275 kms)
Morning, we drive you to Khajuraho. The way is through weird and wonderful countryside and there are huge bridges constructed on massive rivers. On arrival, we check into a hotel in Khajuraho. Post lunch, we walked ourselves around Khajuraho, as this town is small.
It is enthralling to watch green leaves floating on every water body and children enjoying the great baths in the giant lotus pond on the edge of the town. We then reach the Jain temple complex that boost of the finest temple art in the world. The reason of their construction in Khajuraho still remains a mystery. Night is at the hotel in Khajuraho.
Day 09 : Khajuraho - Orcha (178 kms)
Morning, after breakfast, we drive you to Orcha - situated on the banks of river Betwa. Here, visit the famous monuments like Jehangir Mahal, Raj Mahal, Ram Raja Temple and Chaturbhuj Temple.
The bank of the Betwa River is a riot of colors, and you can climb up the boulders strewn all over in the river or can play in the waters, as the river is not deep. Also use a motorbike to reach the Wildlife Park situated on the south of the Betwa river. This park is famous for its turtles. Later, return to the hotel in Orcha.
Day 10 : Orcha - Bhopal
Morning, we catch train from Jhansi to Bhopal. On arrival we check into the hotel. The major attractions of Bhopal are Jama Masjid, Moti Masjid, Taj- ul- Masjid, Gohar Mahal, Bharat Bhawan, Van Vihar Chowk, Laxmi Narayan Temple and Museum and Government Archaeological Museum. We drive you to all these places and later retire back to the hotel for the night's rest.
Day 11 : Bhopal - Jalgaon
Morning is kept for lecture on Buddhist Architecture. Then undertake a day tour by coach to Sanchi Stupa and Buddhist caves at Vidisha. These places are among the most revered of the Buddhist pilgrim destinations in India. Later, check out from the hotel and reach railway station. Overnight train journey from Bhopal to Jalgaon.
Day 12 : Jalgaon - Aurangabad(161 kms)
Arrive to Jalgaon early in the morning and drive to Ajanta Caves in luxury buses. Visit the 6 century Buddhist excavations and frescoes of these ancient caves. The site is captivating and has a lot to offer. You get to learn a lot and can discover ancient frescoes in the walls of the caves. By late afternoon, we start for Aurangabad.
Day 13 : Aurangabad - Mumbai (403 kms)
In the morning, we take you to visit Ellora Caves the 6t and 7th century. Buddhist caves and while returning we visit the Bibi-ka- Maqbara. Later, we take you to Daulatabad Fort the oldest existing forts of India. We also take you to Panchakki, an enormous water mill and Himroo Factory where you can see the conventional norm of Himroo weaving. Late afternoon, leave for Mumbai boarding a flight. On reaching, check into hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14 : Mumbai
Morning, after breakfast, we take you to the Elephanta Caves that dates back to the 5th century BC located in the Elephanta island. These rock cut temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva and are rich in sculptural content. Enjoy the motor boat ride ferrying passengers from Appollo Bunder near the Gate way of India.
After that, we take you for city tour visiting Prince of Wales Museum, Marine Drive, Mani Bhawan and Victoria Garden. We return back to the hotel and check out in time. We drive to the airport where you board flight that takes you to your onward destination.
